Game highlights: It’s a well-known fact that time is irrelevant when you’re in a Margaritaville state of mind (or should we say an Aruba state of mind); after all, it’s always 5 o’Clock here! This rustic outdoor bar has good music, delicious bar bites, drinks, live entertainment, weekly specials, and plenty of good vibes!
Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant
Location of watering hole: Situated right alongside the Renaissance Marina across from Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort in downtown Oranjestad.
Game highlights: This fun, colorful and chill spot brings all the right vibes to the island. Located downtown, Lucy’s offers a different setting than the usual beach or resort area. The giant, spacious bar has plenty of tall, comfortable beach-style chairs and more than enough flat-screen TV’s for your viewing pleasure. Quite possibly the best part, their food menu! Their menu is quite extensive. They have daily happy hour and weekly specials!
Pelican Pier Bar
Location of watering hole: The bar area of Pelican’s Nest Seafood & Grill on Pelican Pier located on Palm Beach in between the Holiday Inn Resort and Playa Linda Resort.
Game highlights: Sitting on a pier overlooking the crystal clear turquoise water, sharing an ice-cold beer bucket with friends, and mingling with the other lively sports fans – this beach bar is definitely for the fun and social butterflies! You will find plenty of delicious food and snack options as well. If you go to Pelican Pier once, you are sure to come back for more!
Kokoa Restaurant & Bar
Location of watering hole: Aruba Beach Club Resort in the low-rise hotel area, located just past the pool area you will find the bar and restaurant nestled on the beach.
Game highlights: Kokoa is a fun spot any night of the week! In addition to their weekly drink and food specials, they are always a great choice for watching the next “big game”. Grab a seat at their pool bar or look out for the additional large screens that they set up on the beach for big sports events!
Local Store
Location of watering hole: Palm Beach/Noord area, located just down the street from the high-rise hotel area.
Game highlights: Often for big games, in addition to their flat screens inside they will set up a big screen by their outdoor patio. Oh, and their endless craft beer selection, wings (dressed with tantalizing locally inspired sauces), juicy burgers, and local specialty funchi fries are reason enough to pay them a visit!
On the Rocks Cafe
Location of watering hole: Downtown Oranjestad, located nearby Peanuts Restaurant on Adriaan Lacle Boulevard.
Game highlights: Escape the hotel area and make your way downtown to go where the locals go for drinks and the big game. Enjoy the open-air indoor/outdoor atmosphere, laid-back vibes, and yummy food with local flavor. On the Rocks is the perfect place to mix in with the locals and passionately cheer on your team!

Game highlights: This cozy beach bar is known for its exciting and fun sports bar atmosphere. You can always count on Carlitos to be playing the game you want to see! For big games, they usually set up a big screen on their sandy beach area. Not only does the beachfront view make for the perfect, laid-back ambiance but they also serve delicious food for you to snack on throughout the game!
Double Down Sports Bar & Grill
Location of watering hole: In the main courtyard of Eagle Aruba Resort & Casino.
Game highlights: A convenient spot for those staying in the Eagle Beach, low-rise hotel area. It’s a popular bar for both locals and tourists who want to catch the big game yet avoid crowded venues. The bar is on the smaller side, making for a fun, more intimate game-time experience. Their menu has plenty of delicious food and drinks, and of course, there is happy hour!
MooMba Beach Bar
Location of watering hole: On Palm Beach, located between the Marriott Surf Club and Holiday Inn Resort.
Game highlights: For just about every big game they set up their jumbo screen right on the beach. Yes, that’s right you can watch the game with your toes in the sand, sea by your side and a cold drink in your hand! It’s never a dull moment at MooMba Beach so get ready for a beach party to remember! Tip: If they are offering “stadium seating” for the big game make sure to reserve your seat ahead of time, as this beach bar is quite popular on the island and you can always expect a crowd!
Fat Tuesday
Location of watering hole: The Village, just across from Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino
Game highlights: Did you hear Fat Tuesday has made its way down to Aruba? Serving (adult) frozen beverages infused with liquor, they have plenty of refreshing tropical flavor combinations, yum! Nestled in between several hot spots in the heart of Palm Beach, this newest addition to Aruba’s nightlife is in a prime location. Grab a seat at the bar and catch the big game on one of their flat screens. You may be happy to know they just added $1 wings to their weekly specials. They are open for daytime fun until the wee hours of the morning, so stop by to cool down from the hot island weather!
