“We don’t celebrate Halloween in Aruba.” That statement makes just about as much sense as the decisions that most scary movie characters make: NONE – of course us islanders celebrate the most spooktacular day of the year!
Remember, we are the One Happy Island…This is Aruba’s official nickname, because our people love to celebrate life, and that includes holidays that might not be typical to Aruban culture. Think about it, Thanksgiving? Nothing to do with us, but hey, a great excuse to get together with friends and family for dinner. Cinco de Mayo? Bring on the tequila and tacos. You get the gist of it.
As for Halloween, each year various Aruba businesses make sure to offer diverse spooktacular activities to help celebrate this holiday on the island. Some of which include, but are not limited to: trick or treating, pumpkin carving, costume parties, and even Halloween themed car rallies.
Discover the frighteningly fun festivities that await for this year’s Halloween 2019 celebration on the One Happy Island! Just keep scrolling to reveal the goodies…
