Dirk Kuyt, whose performances during the World Cup Soccer matches in Brazil were most impressive, is on Aruba. Better yet, he has been spotted at lovely Papillon Restaurant in The Village, one of his favorite restaurants on the island. Dirk and his family are enjoying their holiday these days before going back to work in Turkey. Mr. Kuyt deserves his rest, since he caused the entire Dutch nation to sigh in wonder and admiration for all the hard work he did on the field. Dirk Kuyt was everywhere, playing mid-field or defense and then switching to offense, where he received assistance by international superstars like Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben en Wesley Sneijder. He was fabulous!
We can go on and on about how great Dirk Kuyt and the national Dutch soccer team played in Brazil: the team reached a wonderful, much-deserved third place after Germany and Argentina. Mr. Kuyt also gave a boost to Aruba’s tourism on Dutch television during the World Cup event, telling the viewers about Aruba as his frequent holiday destination. Great promotion, thank you!
