Top-saxophonist Candy Dulfer and popular Latin singer Prince Royce confirmed for the 2014 Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival in Aruba this October

ORANJESTAD, – The first confirmed acts for the 2014 Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival in Aruba include popular Latin singer Prince Royce, top-saxophonist Candy Dulfer & Band, LiV Warfield & The New Power Generation, African jazz sensation Richard Bona, Colombian band Gualao and local bands Tsunami and N’Fuzion. During a special event on May 30th special Standing VIP tickets will be sold at Casibari Café. These tickets give access to a VIP section right in front of the stage, a brand new feature at the 8th edition of Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival. The Standing VIP section is only available on Friday, October 3rd.

“Due to the performance of Prince Royce on Friday October 3rd we created an additional standing VIP section”, festival organizer Erik-Jan Eman explains. “Prince Royce has a large following so his loyal fans can get really close to the stage. I urge all fans to buy a Standing VIP Ticket fast, as there’s only space for 500 visitors in this section. That’s why a special VIP ticket sales event will be held on Friday May 30 at Casibari Café in Aruba from 6-9 PM. Just make sure to be there on time, as these tickets will sell fast”, Eman concludes.

The 8th Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival takes place at the Renaissance Festival Plaza in Oranjestad on Friday October 3 and Saturday October 4, 2014. The festival can host up to 6,000 visitors per day and offers tickets in various price ranges and sections. General admission is $55 per night, per person. Standing VIP tickets are $100 each (Prince Royce only). Upper Deck VIP tickets are available online in pre-sale at $175 each. VIP Tables in this section are $2000 per table, seating 10 guests. Performances take place at three different stages, two outdoors and one indoor. On Friday October 3rd, the so-called Latin Night, the most popular Bachata singer Prince Royce will perform on the main stage outdoors. The 13-man band Gualao from Colombia is also scheduled to perform on Friday, as well as the Caribbean jazz band Eric Calmes & Friends from Curacao. Saturday October 4, or ‘Jazz Night’ includes top-performances by internationally renowned acts as Candy Dulfer & Band and LiV Warfield & New Power Generation Horns. Both acts performed with superstar Prince. Richard Bona Quintet will also take the stage on Saturday night.

The Festival Plaza offers a food court with varied stands selling local delicacies and small bites. Refreshments are provided at various bars, including a cocktail bar and an exclusive wine/champagne bar. In addition all visitors can freely visit a local art exhibition at the festival’s indoor art gallery.
