ORANJESTAD – They are in the last week of preparation for the grand “Betico Memorial” race organized by IBiSA every year. This Saturday, January 25th the race will begin at exactly 6:00 in the morning from the main road in front of Centro Deportivo Betico Croes in Sta. Cruz.
IBiSA has requested a small change in the departure hour. All participants are requested to bear this in mind; that the race will leave 30 minutes later, at 6:00 am. This is to avoid the first runners from coming in while it is still dark out.
Registration is at the main IBiSA office in the Frankrijkstraat 1 as well as at the IBiSA Sport Center in San Nicolas during office hours. The general public is cordially invited and all those who are accustomed to participate in these great races to come out and register as soon as possible.
Local participants for the 10K Run will pay Afls.15 and international participants will pay US$10. For the 6K Fun Walk & Run, this is Afls.10. or US$.8. Commemorative Betico Memorial 2014 T-Shirts and ‘race-numbers’ are already at the office since last week.
Today during the “Masquerade 5K Fun Walk & Run” organized by IBiSA they will be leaving from the parking lot at the IBiSA office in the Frankrijkstraat 1.
You can register for this Betico Memorial Run 2014. Registration is open until 7:00pm. You are also cordially invited to participate in the “Masquerade Fun Walk & Run”. Participation is completely free.
