This year’s regatta will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June 2024, west of Surfside beach, just behind the Neptali Henriquez Speeltuin.
There are 14 racing classes: Optimists, SailQube, F11, Beachcats, Sunfishes, Lasers, Yachts Racing, Yachts Live Aboard cruisers, and Yachts Multihulls, Miniatuurboats (30-35-40 inch), Windsurfers and Kites.
We invited sailing clubs from Bonaire and Curacao to participate in the 2024 Regatta, in Aruba.
The timing of the Regatta has been adjusted to optimize the participation of youth sailors. The Regatta now takes place at the end of the school year so that the sailing cadets have at least one year of lessons completed and can wrap up the year with a great fun Regatta.
The ARF, Aruba Regatta Foundation’s vision is to introduce more people to sailing and connect them more closely to nature and sustainable watersport experiences. The Regatta wishes to reach as many young people as possible and introduce more people to the joy of sailing.
In 2023, seventy-five sailors, participated in more than forty races, during two action packed days and were awarded 27 trophies, especially designed for the Regatta, made from recycled plastic, and repurposed wood.
For 2024, the Regatta aims at attracting more than one-hundred sailors to the Regatta Village, set up west of Surfside beach, in collaboration with a number of generous sponsors and partners.

The 2024 International Regatta’s program includes two days of racing and happy hour at the end of each day, with live music on Saturday, June 29th, featuring the Haerfen Pop Rock Blues Band, and on Sunday, June 30th, The Originalz Reggae Band.
The public is invited to watch the spectacle on the water, have a drink, relax and be reminded what life on an island is about.
