Small Boardwalk Hotel Aruba was taken over four years ago by Belgian- Aruban twin sisters Stephanie and Kimberly Rooijakkers. The hotel recently underwent a complete renovation. Boardwalk ‘s “casitas” were turned into beautiful beach houses, each unique in it’s own way, with a private patio that includes a hammock and BBQ pit.
The boutique hotel did not go unnoticed by local and international press. VOGUE Netherlands December 2015 issue described the Boardwalk Hotel Aruba as follows: ” The Belgian- Aruban twins Kimberly and Stephanie welcome you to this stylish complex of 14 colorfully decorated casitas.The rooms feel spacious because of the high ceilings and each cottage has it’s own private terrace. There is a small pool and a whirlpool on the premises. Boardwalk is not directly situated on the ocean, but you are welcome to use the lounge chairs on the beach at Moomba Beach Bar.
