This year, pet owners in Aruba can rejoice as not only will the spay and neuter prices remain the same as in 2023, but a microchip and the insertion procedure will also be provided free of charge for each pet.
A Partnership with VSH, Committed to Accessibility and Compassion
In our ongoing efforts to promote responsible pet care in Aruba, Stimami Sterilisami is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with VSH Veterinary Specialty Hospital for this year’s campaign. VSH Veterinary Specialty Hospital honorably agreed to maintain the sterilization prices set in 2023. This joint endeavor underscores our mutual commitment to making spay and neuter services affordable and accessible for all pet owners and rescue organizations across the island.
Adding significant value to this year’s campaign is the provision of a microchipping procedure at no extra charge. Recognizing the importance of this service, Fundashon Stimami Sterilisami, VSH Veterinary Specialty Hospital, and the Aruban government have made it possible to include these normally 25-florin-valued microchips for free. Microchipping, which will be mandatory for pets not yet equipped with one, is a vital step towards ensuring the safety and traceability of every pet.
2024 prices
The spay and neutering prices for dogs and cats weighing less than 25 kilograms are as follows:

The price includes antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, anesthesia, and a mandatory microchip for non-chipped pets.
For dogs weighing more than 25 kilograms, the pet owner must pay an additional fee of AFL 50 in addition to the total price. If the dog or cat is in heat or pregnant, the clinic may charge an extra fee due to the increased complexity and higher risks involved in the procedure. The dog or cat must be sufficiently old and in good health to undergo the operation.

STEP 1: Register Online
Registration is simple and must be completed online via our website www.stimamisterilisami.com. This is the only method to be eligible for Stimami’s subsidy. Upon registration, you will receive a registration number via email, which is essential for completing the process.
STEP 2: Visit VSH Veterinary Specialty Hospital
Within a week of registration, visit VSH Veterinary Specialty Hospital at Ernesto Petronia 88 to schedule and pay for your pet’s procedure.
STEP 3: Complete the Registration at the Clinic
At VSH Veterinary Specialty Hospital, you will need to:
- Provide the registration number received via email.
- Pay your portion of the operation cost (Stimami Sterilisami covers the rest).
- Receive the operation appointment and proof of payment.
