Yoga teacher Maria Pucci led two Retrograde Ritual sessions, at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, in September 2023
Both events were open to resort guests and interested locals, at no charge. Taking place at the edge of the water, on eforea beach, the Retrograde Ritual delivered a mindful meditation, resulting in reduced stress, anxiety and rest for a wandering mind.
The session started at 6:30 pm. The guided meditation was followed by a Tibetan sound bath healing experience, to help attendees further alleviate their mood and lighten their mental burdens.
Maria Pucci conducts the sessions each time the planet Mercury enters retrograde motion, which occurred in April, 2023, and again in September, which according to the age-old practice of astrology, affects and influences our well-being.
How it works: Mats are laid out on the beach, with water and towels available. Attendees pick a spot, make themselves comfortable and follow Maria’s soothing voice and guided imagery. The spectacular session will be repeated in December, with the next retrograde.
