JetBlue’s new flights to Aruba from Ft. Lauderdale
JetBlue’s latest addition to its Fort Lauderdale growth plan includes new daily flights to Aruba beginning the fourth of January 2017. The new flights will leave Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) at 11:22, and arrive at Reina Beatrix International Airport (AUA) at 15:24, local time. The returning flights from Aruba will depart at 16:20, and arrive at 18:25. These new flights are precisely timed to connect more than 20 evening departures in Florida, adopting JetBlue’s main South Florida hub as the gateway to the Caribbean.
“With miles of picturesque beaches, a variety of outdoor and beach activity options and fantastic resorts Aruba continues to be a destination JetBlue customers can’t get enough of. With new flights from Fort Lauderdale we are making it easier than ever to get to Aruba no matter where our customers are flying from,” said Dave Clark, vice president network planning at JetBlue.
Daily flights will benefit visitors of the island, making it easier for them to plan their trips, as well as the local economy that relies mostly on tourism.
The daily flights will use 150-seat Airbus A320 aircrafts, and offer services such as broadband, snacks and drinks, free DIRECTV programs, and SiriusXM radio channels and movies. Tickets will be available for purchase through JetBlue.com, starting at $99 for one-way tickets.
For visitors who usually fly from the north, JetBlue Currently offers flights to Aruba from New York JFK and Boston. These include weekly Mint flights, JetBlue’s premium travel experience, featuring fully lie flat seats, top-notch service, artisanal dining, and revitalizing amenities.
