Aruba’s public art draws attention to local history

The area of Paardenbaai, which is located throughout the downtown area of the island, symbolizes the early history of Aruba’s colonial period. The Paardenbaai project is placing eight blue horses in different locations throughout the Oranjestad area in order to promote the island’s colonial history. This public art will encourage the island’s visitors to gain knowledge of our memorable past.

Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Partners up with Pack for a Purpose

The Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort joins forces with the Pack for a Purpose program in order to help travelers make helpful contributions to the communities they visit. The resort is taking the commitment to support its local community and children by becoming partners with Imeldahof, which is the island’s orphanage. Bucuti will be collecting items from their guests and personally be delivering them to the Imeldahof.

Archeological Museum’s Indian Festival was a Cultural Hit!

The Archeological Museum of Aruba hosted an Indian themed festival in order to promote their 6th anniversary and local heritage. The celebration included many different activities, shows, and expositions on the Indian’s culture and customs. Many kids and their parents got the chance to celebrate culture in a different way.
