Three couples, each celebrating 50 years of marriage, spent their golden anniversary in each other’s company at the Westin Resort & Casino Aruba.

The popular restaurant features several new conveniently separately placed stations now have less waiting time, dazzling menu choices that vary daily and an all-you-can eat buffet concept for a very reasonable price.

The eagerly anticipated oceanfront hotel officially welcomed its first guests in Aruba, preceding a new level of luxury travel experiences to the beautiful island nation. International executives and island dignitaries had the honor of cutting the ribbon during the official launching ceremony.

The considerable renovation, which included the Marina Hotel pool deck and Blue Bar, L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chophouse, Papagayo Restaurant on Renaissance Aruba’s private island and Renaissance Island, was introduced by Mr. J.W. “Bill” Marriott to media and VIP guests.

The program, personally created by Company President Wichita Villacres, acknowledges and honors young leaders who have shown exceptional service to the community. After receiving several worthy nominations from among the young executives working for Aruba's tourism industry, ECO DMS chose Ilaina Franco Franka as the ultimate winner, who will enjoy an all-expense paid trip to the SITE Conference in Orlando.

The Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba located on the Palm Beach strip, features over 480 guest rooms. With high season coming up, management of the Westin Resort Aruba organized a meeting for all their associates to stimulate teamwork between associates and departments. Theme of the sessions was “Hunto nos ta Prospera, Together we Thrive.” 

The Ritz-Carlton Aruba Resort is putting their last hand on putting everything in place for the opening on November 22th 2013. The new resort located in Palm Beach will feature 320 oceanfront guestrooms, 55 suites, 4 restaurants, 2 pools, a fitness center and spa, evening entertainment and a casino.

Conde Nast Traveler is an American Travel magazine which also rates travel destinations and facilities. The ratings are primarily based on the results of their annual readers survey. Over 80,000 travelers filled out this year’s survey to share their opinion of the hotels cities and islands they visited in the past year. This past week, the employees of the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa scoured the terrain of the California Dunes for a Responsible Business Beach Cleanup, cleaning up trash and marine debris.

The Food & Beverage department of Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba scoured the bird sanctuary across the street as part of their commitment to the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association's Sponsor a Mile cleanup efforts. The Sponsor-a-Mile is a program where island resorts volunteer to help keep the island clean.
