The crew of the Dutch television program ‘het mooiste meisje van de klas’ (the prettiest girl in the class) visited Aruba to film one of the episodes at the Renaissance Mall and Renaissance Island.

Last Wednesday the Aruba Marriott Resort held the first Vloggers film festival. The Vloggers film festival aimed at showcasing the beauty of the island Aruba and the Marriott Resort from an individual perspective as first time visitors. On Wednesday April 17th the videos were presented to the public and judged by an esteemed panel which included Mr. Tom Calame – General Manager of the Aruba Marriott Resort.

Christmas became brighter for the children ages from 5 to 12, victims of Hurricane Sandy,  thanks to the Marriott Care Foundation. The Marriott Care Foundation were able to send toys to the affected families in New York by the last week of December 2012.
