Aruba Renaissance Resort welcomed local and international chefs for another RLife event

Aruba Renaissance management was thrilled to present an entire weekend of remarkable events. Beginning with a fashion show on Friday by local designer Bergeny Del Mar as part of the Aruba in Style Fashion Week. On Saturday with a food festival where International chefs demonstrated their culinary artistry at the Renaissance Marketplace which ended with a free tasting of authentic local dishes with Antonio “Joselito” Albertz, a native son, and from Orlando, Florida celebrity cake baker Mercedes Strachwsky. It was a thrill for Renaissance guests to meet and sample the tasty creations of the two celebrity chefs.

Royal Visit to Aruba ended with a successful Jump-up event

Thousands of elementary school students awaited the arrival of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima at the Guillermo Trinidad Stadium. One of the themes during the Royal visit was: ‘seen and being seen’ and this translated into a morning of Sports & Games, all with the goal to show students the pleasure of Sports.

Aruba can look back at a stunning Royal Night at Bushiribana

The Royal Night at the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins was announced to be the highlight of the festivities organized for HRM King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. The event, organized at a very unique location, was a mega success. Local artist performed for the King & Queen showing them the history of Aruba’s music and the night ended with a firework show.

HRM King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima welcomed on Aruba

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima arrived on Aruba on Tuesday evening, November 19th 2013. On Wednesday morning the King & Queen were officially welcomed on Aruba by Aruba’s Prime Minister and Governor Refunjol. Besides the Prime Minister and Governor, many islanders came to LG Smith Boulevard to welcome the new King & Queen.

Royal Night program at Gold Mine Ruins Aruba announced

Aruba is preparing itself for the Royal visit of HRM King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima on November 20th and 21st 2013. A special Royal concert will be organized on November 20th at a very unique location: the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins. Local and international artist will perform during this show, presenting the King and Queen with a virtual journey through time in which the development of Aruba is presented based on the development of its music. The music journey through time will be visually accompanied by dance, circus and video.

Another Aruba International Beach Tennis tournament is coming up

Once again Aruba will host the Aruba International Beach Tournament from November 11 -17. Eagle Beach will be transformed into a tennis court where several local and international beach tennis players will try to impressive the public, all with the hope to bring home the cup. Players are flying in from Italy, Brazil, France, Venezuela, Belgium, Czech Republic and the United States.

Star dedication for Xander Bogaerts at Paseo Herencia Aruba Shopping Mall

The government of Aruba & Paseo Herencia shopping mall would like everyone to the star dedication ceremony for Xander Bogaerts. After the ‘Wall of Fame”, a showcase of young athletes who demonstrate their talent, determination and tenacity to attain a medal winning status in international sports competitions, Paseo Herencia will now introduce the Paseo Walk of Stars. The walk of Stars will feature local athletes, artists and entertainers and Xander will be the first person to be honored.

Miss Aruba is preparing for the Miss Universe 2013

The Miss Universe 2013 competition will take place on November 9th in Moscow and Miss Aruba is already preparing herself for the competition. All candidates already posed in their bathing suits and evening gown during the Miss Universe preliminary competition. Miss Aruba made impression on the jury and as many commented that she looked like a movie star in her bathing suit.
