VisitAruba recently had an interview with Aruban producer/director Rebecca Roos, who is also the Industry Events Director for the Aruba International Film Festival. "This year we really had a very strong festival, with over several hundred submissions."

The 2015 PPC Aruba World Championship will be held at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino from November 1st to November 8th. This 11 event series will feature over 200 players and a $1,700 buy-in, $250,000 guarantee Main Event.

Before its final day of screenings, the Aruba International Film Festival held their award ceremony at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino. The jury, which presented the awards to the winners, was lead by the Oscar nominee Virginia Madsen and noted film journalist Kevin Lally.
