A growing new hobby: Bird Watching on Aruba

An interesting new passing time enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, with around 236 registered species at the different places on the island like the reefs, beaches, mangroves and more. Visitors to our island can easily access the Bubali Plas Bird Sanctuary—with a bird-watching tower overlooking marsh areas—located adjacent to the Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba in the high-rise hotel area of Palm Beach.

VisitAruba Video Contest winner starts his Aruba adventure!

The winner of the 2012 Visit Aruba video contest has arrived in Aruba and is very excited to begin his Aruba adventure. Thanks to the participating sponsors to whom we are very grateful for their generosity, we have overloaded David Kohlmeier from Austria with Gift Certificates and tons of stuff to do. San Nicolas Community Museum officially opened

The new Community Museum in San Nicolas opened its doors for the first time to the public on March14th 2013.The museum presents a picture of Aruba’s past society and host old photos and artifacts of the San Nicolas community. Exhibits will be changes regularly to feature different community members and personalities.

Clown Doctors 2013 Fund Raising Campaign

This year's fund raising campaign organized by Aruba Clown Doctors is centered around Julien Collot's Traveling Bear. The efforts of the fund raiser is to bring awareness to Children with Cancer.  The focus of Julien Collot's Traveling Bear is to encourage Arubian travelers to take the bear on their upcoming journey's during this year. Julien Collot's Traveling Bear does not only include international travels, but he can be invited for day out on Aruba, documenting his island visits as well.
