A total of 36 participants vying for the Tumba King 2014 title, delivered stunning performances during the energetic Tumba Festival.

Sheqayli won the crown among nine other contestants during the Children’s Carnival Queen Pageant with her overall charisma and delightful performances.

Candidates from 7 different districts and groups will compete to become Aruba's 60th Carnaval Youth Queen.The Carnival Youth Queen Election starts tonight, Friday February 7th at 7.30 at Aruba's Entertainment Center.

As part of Aruba's Carnival tradition, the transfer of command normally takes place just before the big parades. On Wednesday evening the Prime Minister handed over the keys to the island to the new Prins and Panchos of this Carnival season. The new Carnival Law was introduced during the ceremony and will be in place until Ash Wednesday when the Carnival officially ends.

The event has grown in popularity and size during the years to become an official Carnival event during the Aruba Carnival Season.

A total of 41 candidates will be competing tomorrow night for the song contest.

The festival last Friday was a complete success with fantastic performances in both the Youth and Children categories.

Candidates from 10 different districts will be vying for the Children Carnaval Queen Crown tonight.

A multitude of children, from babies to teens, donned in costumes, took part in the festive and colorful balloon parade through San Nicolas’ streets. 

As a result, officials adjusted the grand parade routes to accommodate the vast quantities of participants and spectators anticipated to attend the final events.

With island band D'Licious providing lively carnival music, the management and staff of Fundacion Cas Pa Communidad Arubano (FCCA) crowned their candidate for Diamond Jubilee Mrs. Carnival.

The competition, held at Aruba Entertainment Center, took place on Saturday where Aruban teens and children competed for the roadmarch and calypso titles.
