The Aruba Open Beach Tennis Championships 2024 is set to return from November 10 to 17 at Bushiri Beach as the most anticipated beach tennis event on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tour. Attracting top players from over 40 countries, this year’s tournament celebrates a new milestone as an ITF Sand Series 75 event featuring a record-breaking prize pool of US $95,000, cementing Aruba’s place on the world stage for beach tennis. The Sand Series includes the premier tournaments on the ITF Beach Tennis World Tour, designed to provide professional players with opportunities to gain more ranking points and greater prize money.
A Global Event and Record-Breaking Year for Beach Tennis in Aruba
For over a decade, the Aruba Open has become a landmark event for the beach tennis world, drawing over 1,200 registered participants each year, including more than 500 local players who proudly represent the island. Friends and family members of the international players also travel to Aruba in droves to witness this high-caliber competition. During the championship weekend, over 10,000 spectators, comprised of locals and tourists alike, are expected to gather at the main stadium, creating a vibrant and electric atmosphere as top world-ranked players battle it out for various championship titles.
This year’s tournament surpasses the 2023 edition in terms of registered players, further solidifying Aruba’s reputation as a global beach tennis destination and positioning the Aruba Open as the sport’s most celebrated event worldwide.

Pan American Championships to Open the Aruba Open 2024
Adding to this year’s excitement, Aruba has been selected to host the ITF Beach Tennis Pan American Championships, which will run from November 7th to 10th at the Beach Tennis Aruba Club at Eagle Resort. The event will culminate with the Pan Am finals at the Aruba Open’s Opening Night on Bushiri Beach, featuring finals in the Girls and Boys 18U and Men’s and Women’s Doubles categories.
