On Tuesday, February 28th during Flip Flop Festival‘s official press conference the latest performing artist was announced. Rick Ross, one of today’s biggest artists in the rap industry will be headlining Flip Flop Festival 2017! He will be taking the stage alongside Konshens, one of Dancehall’s most talented and popular artists.
Rick Ross is one of the biggest bosses in the rap industry, both literally and figuratively. On his albums he holds collaborations with top artists, such as Jay-Z, Drake, Mary-J Blige, Kanye West, Erykah Badu, John Legend, Chris Brown, T.I. and Future. In addition to Rick Ross, Konshens and the world famous Reggae band, Morgan Heritage will be performing!
Also announced, the location of the main event has changed from Eagle Beach to Bushiri Beach Arena! It will take place on Saturday, April 1st starting at 5:00 pm and not ending until 2:00 am. The entire festival will take place from March 31st – April 2nd. This year in addition to the main event their will be an opening event the evening prior at E Motions Nightclub and a closing event the following day at Renaissance Resort‘s pool deck.
Ticket locations have been re-stocked with Early Bird Tickets. They are currently on sale for 35 florins per ticket while supply lasts. General ticket grants entry to the main event only. VIP tickets for VIP Standing will also be available. These will grant you access to all of the events! Tickets are available at Citgo Palm Beach, Boulevard, Santa Cruz and Essoville.
