Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa recently organized a donation-based yoga class in cooperation with Lynet Vink from Stoked About Yoga. Funds collected were donated to FAVI to help those who are visually impaired. FAVI organizes social activities and helps with personal development and integration, to contribute to people’s happiness in life.

Lynet opened the class explaining about the FAVI organization, where she taught many times. The students who participated in the class started the class blindfolded. The intention was to experience how it is to have a visual limitation, and to become more conscious of their internal world.

The participating yogis raised a great amount of Afl 625, and Manchebo Beach Resort contributed with a donation of Afl 500. Together with the Managing Director of Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, Ton Kolman, Lynet handed the cheque to a happy Lucette Baarh-Bijlhout from FAVI.

Manchebo Beach Resort is deeply rooted in community and social endeavors. The resort hosts events, participates in community programs, provides sponsorship and donations, and encourages volunteerism of its staff. The donation based yoga will be part of this ongoing sponsorship. The special classes will be organized on a regular basis to keep supporting local charities.

Yoga classes at Manchebo Resort are offered at the Manchebo Pavilion and at the Yoga Deck by the beach. Guests of the resort are offered one complimentary class. Non guests are also welcome to join!
