True story: flamingos are monogamous for life when they mate. So it wasn’t that far-fetched to have a wedding for two particular love birds who already live in an ideal honeymoon spot.

Allie and Noah, residents of the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, got married in honor of National Pink Flamingo Day – Allie wearing a bridal dress of course, and Noah wearing a bow tie. The private ceremony was held at Renaissance Private Island in Aruba, with some cute video and photos to document the occasion.

The resort celebrated the wedding by turning its bar pink and serving pink cocktails and cupcakes to guests. It also pledged to donate a florin (the Arubian dollar) for each like or share of the wedding on Renaissance Facebook page to Animal Rights Aruba.

The resort’s seven pink flamingos are the only such birds on Aruba.
