Hilton Aruba’s holiday calendar is decked with joyous events for guests of all ages. This winter wonderland in paradise is packed with fun activities, festive treats and eats, and interactive holiday markets.
Guests and locals are invited to enjoy the festivities – and keep an eye out for Santa at the hotel lobby, escorted by his elves, during the holiday markets, and later in the season, even on the beach.
This year’s December holiday markets unfold on December 6th, 13th and 20th, every Wednesday, before Christmas, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm in the main resort lobby.
The resort’s culinary team will be presenting its freshly made Oliebollen, famous Dutch doughnuts, traditionally eaten around the yearend celebrations, filled with raisins and covered with powdered sugar.
The holiday markets features a carefully selected ensemble of unique local artisans showcasing their artisanal creations for the holidays or throughout the year. Additionally, Royal Aruba Aloe and eforea Spa will be present, offering unique small gifts to enhance the Christmas celebration. The Aruba Animal Shelter will be also present to promote their work and will be selling their products and accepting donations.
The resort will also offer enchanting live music, with Duo Aria, Rachelle Kraaijvanger and Zulaika Geerman singing all our favorite Christmas songs.
Guests and locals of all ages are invited to interact with Santa, browse for unique gifts and original artisanal souvenirs made in Aruba, take pictures in the photo booth for a memorable souvenir and ring in the Aruba holiday spirit.
In addition to the Holiday Market, Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino will also be bringing back the Tree of Giving. Spread love for the local community with a unique fundraising drive, encouraging guests and colleagues to help build a tiered potted poinsettia plant holiday tree in the lobby, with donations benefitting Fundacion Pa Nos Comunidad, FPNC.
The Tree of Giving will be the focal décor point for the lobby during the holiday season, a creative way of involving the community and uniting locals and visitors for a good cause.
All are invited to contribute to FPNC by purchasing a live potted poinsettia and write their name on a plant stake that will be placed in the poinsettia for display. FPNC, Aruba’s official food bank, has a mission to fight poverty, emotional distress and social exclusion on the island.
Happy Holidays from the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino.
