Kozlov Dance Academy will present the holiday classic ballet “The Nutcracker” on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00pm at Cas di Cultura.
Kozlov Dance Academy’s production of “The Nutcracker” was first staged for the Australian Ballet at the Sydney Opera House in 1981 by Leonid Kozlov, former principal dancer with both the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, Russia, and New York City Ballet.
As Director of Kozlov Dance Academy, Leonid Kozlov, has been delighting audiences in the United States and Aruba since 1993 with his dazzling choreography set to Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score and lavish costumes and scenery direct from the Bolshoi Theatre Workshop.
Leonid Kozlov, will dance the leading roles of Herr Drosselmeyer and the Cavalier along with his wife, Adriana, as the Sugar Plum Fairy.
“The Nutcracker” makes the perfect introduction to classical ballet for all ages and is a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays.
