The lighting of the Menorah will be followed by the story of the holiday, and an artistic program.
This is to remind all those interested that the festival of Joy & Light, Hanukkah, is unfolding December 16th to the 23rd.
The Menorah Lighting will take place every night during the holiday, at 7PM, at Beth Israel Synagogue in Oranjestad.
On Tuesday, December 16th, 2014, the first candle will be lit, followed by a Hanukkah potluck dinner, and for the 5th Candle, on Saturday, December 20th, the synagogue will host THE FESTIVAL OF JOY AND LIGHT SONGS, SUFGANYOT AND POTATO LATKES.
As a culmination of festivities for the holiday week on Sunday, December 21st, a public lighting of the Menorah will take place from 6pm-7pm at Paseo Herencia’s amphitheater
