Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino can look back on a successful Electric Festival weekend. “We want to congratulate Dj Chuckie and his whole organization for a festival that has offered not only the Aruban community but also those who visited from abroad including guests a different experience, this according to Janien Huistra, Director of Sales & Marketing for Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino. Starting from the ‘prep’ weeks Renaissance Aruba has shown the whole world the ‘Dirty Dutch’ inspired suite which served as an appetizer of what was to expect for the first edition of the ‘Electric Festival’.
During the electric weekend the guests of Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino got the opportunity to enjoy RLife LIVE exclusive performances by local and international Dj’s, VIP and Press night and celebrities that made Renaissance Aruba their main base for the weekend. From September 6th till September 8th, Renaissance hosted numerous parties and events in corporation with Electric Festival. Three days of party! Friday September 6th started with the ‘Electric Pool Party’ on the pool deck of Renaissance Aruba Marina Hotel with performances by Dj Rustica, DJ Myron Kelly and Music Monks, followed by the, Artist & Press dinner on the beach at Renaissance Ocean Suites. Saturday September 7th was filled with numerous performances including a Q & A session at Renaissance Ocean Suites hosted by ADE- Amsterdam Dance event with Dj Chuckie, Mastiksoul and Mitchell Niemeyer, pool party at Renaissance Marina pool deck and on Sunday September 8th the ‘Electric Festival’ weekend was closed off with a tremendous close-off pool party with performances by different Dj’s on the pool deck of Renaissance Aruba Marina Hotel. All packages and also the ELECTRIC SUITE by CHUCKIE were sold.
Besides all of the on-property action surrounding Electric Festival, guests who stayed on the selected floors at Renaissance Aruba’s adults-only Marina Hotel had the opportunity to experience the resort’s recently renovated guestrooms. More than $35,000 has been invested in each of the rooms to give them a contemporary residential feel and evoke a true sense of place. All renovated rooms incorporate LCD televisions and wireless internet. Renovations to all Marina Hotel guestrooms are slated to be complete by the end of 2013. During the Electric Festival, Renaissance Aruba created an backstage RLife artist area, the lounge consisted of high cocktail tables, a complete lounge sitting area including a bar and a awesome backdrop of the Renaissance Aruba Adult exclusive Chukie suite. The weekend was electrified by performances by Chuckie, Slash, Nero, Nicole Moudaber, Boris, Conner Cruise (the adoptive son of Actor Tom Cruise), Erick Morillo and Mastiksoul. This festival can be considered as the biggest electric music festival in Caribbean. The festival was organized in corporation with Aruba Tourism Authority, Amsterdam Dance Event, Eventpro and GM Affairs Caribbean.
