It’s been a festive December so far at T.H. Palm & Company. On December 3rd the boutique hosted its 12th annual Girls’ Night Out event, and this past Wednesday evening, T.H. Palm & Company turned up its party music once again, this time for its first annual Rainbow Night event, celebrating the island’s LGBTI community.
“The Rainbow Night event is something I’ve been wanting to do for many years-more than 10 years, actually-because I think it’s so important that we celebrate diversity in our community,” explained Jodi Tobman, the boutique’s owner. “We all have different things that light us up, different ways of loving, different ways of expressing ourselves, and I think that this community should be celebrated and acknowledged. They are an important part of the fabric of Aruba, helping to create the beautiful quilt of diversity that makes up our island.”
As the guests mingled, they were treated to delicious cocktails and the unique creations of local chef Bas Kuurstra. “I am so fortunate to work with Bas Kuurstra from Rent a Chef again. He is such a culinary star,” Ms. Tobman shared.
The guests also had the opportunity to peruse the boutique’s newest collections for the holiday season, including new clothing lines, bags, accessories, and an amazing selection of gifts. As one of the guests pointed out, “This truly is a shop for all your holiday shopping!” Local shoppers can also participate in the boutique’s Christmas raffle. For every AWG 25 that a shopper spends in T.H. Palm & Company over the next few weeks, they will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win a shopping spree of AWG 1000. The drawing will take place on the 26th of December.
