The Divi & Tamarijn Aruba all inclusives announce new mexican restaurant opening in december

Just in time to impact the upcoming high season, the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives are pleased to announce the opening of their new Mexican themed restaurant, Pure Lime, and Divi Aruba’s first pool view category building.

Scheduled to open next month, amenities in the building’s rooms will include a built in fridge, floating desk with pop-up electrical outlets and USB ports, 43 inch flat screen led TV and bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a granite counter with double sinks. With the ground floor just steps away from the pool deck, guests can take advantage of the full service bar located there.

“We are excited to offer these new dining and accommodation options to our guests staying at the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives,” commented Alex Nieuwmeyer, Managing Director, Divi Resorts Aruba. Mexican cuisine to Asian Fusion, every meal on property will be an incredible culinary experience. Along with the opening of Pure Lime, the addition of our new building with patios or balconies overlooking the step-down pool with floating lounge chairs and cabanas, will give guests a wider selection to choose from when booking their reservations.”

Located at the Divi Aruba All Inclusive, Pure Lime marks the 10th dining option for guests staying at the properties. Pure Lime will be one of the first full service Mexican restaurants on Aruba. Ms. Lyssette Van Der Biezen will serve as the Executive Chef. Born in Mexico City, Chef Lyssette lived most of her life in Morelia Michoacan. She was raised in a very traditional Mexican family where all of the women would cook at home for their families. Inspired by her grandmother’s cooking, Lyssette was the first in her family to branch out and work for herself. She graduated from Davis University with a degree in International Gastronomy. Before she started working at Pure Lime, Chef Lyssette owned her own restaurant.

The restaurant will have an open kitchen concept, and the menu will offer a variety of savory dishes that include traditional Mexican flavors and spices such as cilantro, avocado and lime. The cocktail list will also feature signature drinks such as margaritas and sangria made with pears, grapes and apples.

The restaurant’s vibrant décor is inspired by Modern Mexican art with bright colors accented with lime green, chalkboard painted booths, high tables and blackboards displayed around the restaurant to showcase the menu items. Pure Lime will be an enclosed, air-conditioned space, and will be open for dinner by reservation only.

In addition to the opening of Pure Lime and the new accommodations building at Divi Aruba All Inclusive, as of 2016, all rooms will include a free digital safe and WiFi.
