Good Morning, I wanted to share this story with you; it will be 10 years this July 5th that my husband and I have been coming to Aruba. We have always stayed at the Divi Divi All Inclusive and 2 years ago we became timeshare owners at the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort; still loyal to the Divi. It all started one day when I was at work and a customer came to me and said they had just come back from Aruba and that I had to go, it is out of this world.
Aruba, I never heard of it before. Where is it, I asked. They started showing me pictures and I fell in love. At that time my husband and I had never taken vacations before; he is self employed and it is hard and I work full-time and a lot of hours as well and vacations weren’t in our schedule. Any time off, we always spent with family. But I decided it might be time to go away just the two of us.
I did my research and a few days later I told my husband we are going to Aruba, he thought I was nuts first he said where the heck is Aruba then he said when, for how long, I don’t think I can get away.
I showed him pictures and then I said the magic words “I am going either with you or without you.” Well, we did it and never looked back and we have been going ever since. It is our revitalization of life, our get away from troubles, worries, and the hustle of everyday life. Life is too short to not have done this. Last year we decided to bring our 3 children, 2 daughter-in-laws and 3 grandchildren with us so they could share in what we love and to see for themselves why we continue to come back. They all fell in love with the island as well.
Since we have been coming and telling everyone we talk with about Aruba, I cannot tell you how many people we know that now vacation there every year as well and some have become time share owners like us also. Sure some say why don’t you go some place different and see other places and I always answer the same way; why?
We found paradise for us, so why would I not go there, it’s perfect. My husband would retire there in a heartbeat if he could, we cannot wait to step off the plane this year to the most relaxing vacation anyone could ask for. I wanted to share my story with you just so you know once again how beautiful your island is and how it transforms people to take a look at life and enjoy each other and just RELAX if only for one week out of our busy everyday lives. It renews and refreshes your life and well being.
