The event had a duration of 4 days and served as a showcase for the primary products that LG Smith’s Steak & Chop House has to offer, which is the Certified Angus beef, steak and high quality wine.

Aruba and the Westin Resort are both very proud to have hosted the Mrs. Universe 2013 Pageant over the past week, culminating in the crowning of two new queens on Sunday evening, August 11. The Mrs. Universe event was founded with the idea to glorify all aspects of feminine beauty and accomplishment, with the winners decided not only by their grace, poise and appearance, but success in forging careers and involvement in community service. Contestants range in age from 25-45 and must be married; quite a few are mothers several times over.

Aruba Bucuti Yacht Club Aruba this year will be hosting their 40th International Sailfish Tournament on August 22, 23, 24 and 25th. A pioneer in farming on Aruba
Oranjestad – Ari Lichtenstein, an Aruban farmer who owns Nos Cunucu, The Landfarm, stands behind the principle of ecological farming, keeping the soil healthy by using sustainable farming techniques. Ari has ambitious plans for his farm and is aiming to complete all of them, such as growing lettuce in the six greenhouses that he reserved for this purpose. Amigoe visited Ari on the occasion of Earth Day.
