Another Aruba International Beach Tennis tournament is coming up

Once again Aruba will host the Aruba International Beach Tournament from November 11 -17. Eagle Beach will be transformed into a tennis court where several local and international beach tennis players will try to impressive the public, all with the hope to bring home the cup. Players are flying in from Italy, Brazil, France, Venezuela, Belgium, Czech Republic and the United States.

Conde Nast Traveler is an American Travel magazine which also rates travel destinations and facilities. The ratings are primarily based on the results of their annual readers survey. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts receives Green Globe Certification for 14th consecutive year

Aruba’s Minister of Tourism visited Boardwalk Hotel in Palm Beach

Aruba’s minister of Tourism Otmar Oduber visited Aruba Boardwalk Hotel for the first time after it switched owners and the property got completely renovated. After the sale was completed, twin sisters Kimberly and Stephanie decided to renovate the property to give it a Coastal-Living vive, which translated in lots of bright colors. The minister was pleasantly surprised with the changes the hotel underwent.

Beautification projects announced for three Aruban beaches

The Minister of Tourism, Transport and Labor together with the Minister of Infrastructure, Immigration and Environment and the Minister Finance, Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy announced their plans to improve three under used beaches on Aruba. The three targeted areas are Baby Beach in San Nicolas, Surfside on the eastern end of Oranjestad, and the bay at Cura Cubai, at the western end of San Nicolas, which offers excellent conditions for many water activities.

Beach Tennis Tournament Results

Queen's Day celebration week was big and one of the greatest events that took place during the weekend was The Arubianas 4th ranking tournament. Around 300 participants in all categories, levels and ages played on the prestigious Eagle Beach with a total of 14 courts.
