With its fabulous 52-item fresh salad bar and sixteen prime cuts of perfectly grilled meats, just-baked homemade breads, and sinfully decadent homemade desserts, it’s no surprise that Amazonia Churrascaria has developed a loyal following of both locals and island visitors over the years.
Our roving photographer caught several repeat visitors enjoying their meal at Aruba’s most popular Brazilian-style steakhouse. Mr. & Mrs. Gold, from Washington, DC, celebrated their 17th visit to the island with a dinner at Amazonia, while the Arena, Klein and Greco families commemorated 20 years of Aruba vacations, returning to Amazonia every year that they’re on the island.
Also, enjoying their first – but certainly not last – visit to Amazonia Churrascaria: a happy family from New Jersey, and Gus Malone, who was excited to visit Aruba and Amazonia for the first time, accompanied by his parents.
Amazonia Churrascaria first opened in Aruba in 2001, as the first original Churrascaria. The restaurant offers dinner Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 11pm and Sunday from 4pm to 11pm, delivering a truly unique dining experience, perfectly suited for large and small families, diverse groups, celebrations, and intimate dinners for two, over great food and fine wine.
