A `fishy’ fun-fundraising is going to take place at CILO City Lounge on Sunday, June 30. From 3 – 8 pm the popular waterfront restaurant will be transformed into a fisherman’s wharf, filled with action. Man na Obra is going to be the benefiting foundation of the fundraiser – the event will raise money for the workshop of the mentally challenged on the island, where they make useful items as well as beautiful handicrafts.
June 30 is preceded by a ticket sale for a super raffle: from June 21st on tickets can be bought at CILO or at Taste of Belgium in the Palm Beach Plaza Mall, CILO’s gorgeous grand café-style sister restaurant. Winners of the raffle will be announced on the CILO website. Prizes include a weekend stay at the Renaissance Resort as well as other great prizes.
So what can you expect next Sunday? Well, there will be a mini Fisherman’s Wharf, where one can personally select the fish of one’s choice and see it being prepared to perfection at the outside cooking station. Live cooking shows will be alternated with live entertainment from singers Kevin and Mirugia and Martin and Sanghita, while Man na Obra’s dancers will put on a sizzling show as well. During the afternoon food and drink tastings are scheduled, there is a Dino Jump for the kids and more.
In short, June 30 will be a fantastic `fishy’ fun-fundraiser. Don’t forget to come and check it out.
