ARUBA – Jack and Mary Ellen Martino have been coming to Aruba for already 8 years. They have a busy life as owners of restaurants in New York, so they love to relax every year for one full month. They pack their bags and fly to Aruba and check into the Marriott hotel.

In a well-deserved vacation you also need the best food, so they go to Papillon restaurant at least one time every week. They go for a dinner for two or together with friends for a nice evening out.

They enjoy the different day soups, grouper filet or filet mignon and of course they drink a delightful glass of wine with their dinner. These lovely guests have been enjoying the food and wine at Papillon restaurant since the day the restaurant first opened their doors 5 years ago.

Papillon at the Village, across from the Raddison Resort, is a most unusual restaurant: having been named after Henri Charriere, France’s most notorious escaped convict, its design is ‘prison-style’ chic. The restaurant is best-known for its French- Caribbean cuisine, its excellent service and quest for perfection. Cozy, elegant yet casual, it offers the best possible quality products, superb French wines and European seasonal delicacies, at this moment there is a special Game season menu available.

Jack and Mary Ellen, thank you for visiting Papillon restaurant and bringing new friends to Papillon restaurant every year. Enjoy your vacation on Aruba!

Papillon is located across from the Radisson Resort on the Hi-Rise strip. For reservations, please call 586-5400.
