We are now slowly but surely getting to the grand September finale of the tombola fiesta of Taste of Belgium Restaurant in the Palm Beach Plaza Mall. Every last Saturday of the month sees a Belgian theme at Taste of Belgium and the month of August is super special with its planned Belgian Food Fest. Guests at this favorite hi-rise restaurant get a chance to win a grand prize of a return trip Aruba – Antwerp with a hotel stay. They receive a ticket for the tombola with every AWG. 50,– spent at Taste of Belgium. These tickets need to be filled out with your name and e-mail address on them. So choose a friend, partner, colleague, husband or wife to accompany you on your dream trip to Belgium.
The tombola drawing will take place on Saturday, September 28, during a festive finale which will be broadcast live.
The Belgian Food Fest on August 31 will have everyone salivating with its `Vol-au-Vent’ filled with a creamy ragout of chicken, mushrooms and meatballs served in a puff pastry, its Gentse Waterzooi, a classic Belgian soup with chicken breast, vegetables and potatoes or main courses Flemish Beef Stew, Belgian Beer Ribs or Grouper in ‘t Groen, a filet served in a creamy sauce of green herbs with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Dessert is irresistible: a Brussels Waffle made after grandmother’s recipe topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and strawberries. Mmmmm.
Every last Saturday of the month Taste of Belgium will be an extra fun location for kids as well, as there will be a Dino jump in front of the restaurant from 5 – 9 pm. Guests get a chance to tease Lady Luck by throwing the dice, earning themselves a free check by throwing three times six or 25 percent off by throwing three consecutive numbers.
