Taste of Belgium Aruba presents the beer of the month

Corsendonk Agnus is the beer of the month March at Taste of Belgium.

“Corsendonk Agnus” is a blonde triple beer, produced in brewery “Brasserie Du Bocq” in Belgium.

The Corsendonk Agnus is brewed with pale malt, hence it’s golden blonde colour. It is a high fermentation beer, with a second fermentation in the bottle. This results in a lively, fruity taste with a spicy bouquet and slightly dry finish.

The Corsendonk Agnus goes really well with chicken, mussels and asparagus.

The brandname refers to the Priory of Corsendonk in Oud-Turnhout; which was in operation from 1398 to 1784, and was rebuilt in 1968 as a hotel complex by new owners Corsendonk Hotels. Nowadays the Corsendonk beers are brewed by Brasserie Du Bocq in Purnode, Belgium.

The Corsendonk beer family contains not only this Agnus triple blond beer, but also five other sorts; Corsendonk Pater; a dark, redbrown double beer | Corsendonk Christmas Ale; a redbrown christmas beer | Corsendonk Blond; a blond beer | Corsendonk Bruin, a dark beer | Corsendonk Rousse; a pink fruity beer.
