Balashi Brewery

The Balashi Brewery was founded in 1998 and the Balashi Pilsner Beer was first brewed in October 1999 made with the island's pristine desalinated water, malt imported from Scotland, and hops from Germany. The brewery started as a collaboration with local partners and German beer experts. The first beer introduced, Balashi, was named after the area of the island that the brewery is located. Over time the brewery has expanded their selection and now offer three local beers: Balashi, Chill and Magic Mango.
