Spanish Lagoon

The Spanish settlers used this bay as their main entry point to Aruba in the 15th century. Nowadays Spanish Lagoon is known because it's the only inner bay with such a diverse marine and bird life. The Mangel Halto area at the coastline before heading into the lagoon, in Pos Chiquito, is great for snorkeling, sailing and fishing spot and kayak tours are offered through the lagoon. There is also a fish market providing fresh fish.
